Cristina Varga -

Performance

During her master’s degree in Performance Training at Plymouth University, Cristina began experimenting with interdisciplinary art that blends physical theatre and new media art often featuring nature as a visual element. Through her performance work, Cristina wants to forge a connection with the audience by intertwining autobiographical narratives with mixed media art, music and sound.

Familiar solitude

Familiar solitude is a verbatim video performance that has been created through a questionnaire. People from all over the world shared their feelings and thoughts about belonging to a place, the meaning of home and coping after a year of lockdown. A raw, unedited testimony of the times we live in. A reflection on how this year changed us and the world.

Sound: Mihail – Iulian Carrabulea

Voice Acting: Natalie Mae and Amin Suleiman
